With his infectious melodies, Calcutta became an irresistible phenomenon, drawing growing curiosity over the years. His pop songwriting has no equal in Italy, with hits like “Oroscopo” (triple platinum) and tracks such as “Cosa mi manchi a fare”, “Frosinone” and “Gaetano”. In 2017 he returned with “Orgasmo” (platinum) and “Pesto” (double platinum). The record “Evergreen” (platinum) came out in 2018, preceded by “Paracetamolo” (double platinum). His 2018 shows drew over 30,000 people between Stadio Francioni in Latina and the Verona Arena, with the Verona Arena show becoming a concert film screened in more than 150 cinemas. 2019 opened with a sold-out tour of Italy’s main arenas, followed by the new singles “Due Punti” and “Sorriso (Milano Dateo)” (platinum), and 14 summer live dates. He closed out the “Evergreen” era with shows in major European capitals. In 2023 he released his third album “RELAX” (double platinum), which kept him firmly in the spotlight, winning over fans and critics alike and landing in fifth place on Spotify’s Global Top Albums Debuts.
