Arianna Del Giaccio, known as ARIETE, born in Anzio in 2002, discovered music early, starting to play guitar and piano and writing her first songs. In 2019 she released the single “Quel Bar” on YouTube, followed by “01/12”, which showcased her songwriting talent. In 2020 she debuted with the EP “Spazio”, marked by an intimate “bedroom pop” feel. Success came with “Tatuaggi” (platinum), a collaboration with PSICOLOGI, and the EP “18 anni” (gold), which produced the generational single “Venerdì”. In 2021 she released a vinyl collecting her early EPs and found further success with “Pillole” (platinum) and “L’ultima notte” (triple platinum), written for the soundtrack of Summertime. The tracks “L”, “Club” and “Castelli di lenzuola” followed, leading up to the album Specchio (2022). The record, a finalist for the Premio Tenco, passed one million streams in 24 hours. Her summer tour was a major success, drawing over 7,000 people at Carroponte and 10,000 at Rock in Roma. In 2023 she debuted at Sanremo with “Mare di guai” (platinum), written with Calcutta and produced by Dardust. The summer brought the release of “Un’altra ora” and her second album La notte, which opened her first arena tour, making her the youngest Italian female artist to perform in such large venues.
